ESG Manager
Would you like to help drive sustainability initiatives at an international textile company?
Talent Search has been entrusted with finding a driven and dedicated ESG Manager who wants to play a central role in Franchetti’s ongoing work with sustainability and responsible production. In this role, you will serve as a key link between customers, suppliers, and factories. You will drive ESG initiatives, monitor compliance with REACH and other textile-related regulations, and ensure that the company’s partners operate in accordance with requirements and expectations.
Main Responsibilities
- Be responsible for and further develop the company's ESG efforts.
- Serve as the public face of the company in interactions with customers, suppliers, factories, and external networks.
- Actively stay up to date and build the knowledge needed to support and inform customers about laws, regulations, and industry standards in the textile and sustainable production sectors.
- Monitor developments in existing and upcoming regulations within the EU and under REACH.
- Ensure that relevant ESG requirements are communicated internally and complied with throughout the supply chain.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to translate sustainability requirements into practical solutions.
To be considered for the position
- Experience in the textile industry and a solid understanding of sustainable production.
- Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
- Knowledge of textile chemicals.
- Interest in and understanding of legislation, standards, and sustainability requirements in the textile industry.
- Integrity and professionalism in interactions with owners, colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
- A true team player with a strong ability to build and maintain networks.
- Ability and willingness to work on-site five days a week.
- Opportunity to travel to Asia about once a year and to take about 4–5 trips within Sweden per year.
- Relevant post-secondary education in fields such as textiles, sustainability, the environment, chemistry, or similar.
- Class B driver's license.
