Solutions Architect / Product Owner
Talent Search has been entrusted with recruiting a Solutions Architect for a medtech client in the Stockholm area. The position is a permanent one.
The customer is a company with operations in several countries that specializes in monitoring critical environments for the life sciences sector (pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical technology), hospitals, the electronics industry, and the food industry. The company offers a wide range of products and services and is a key partner to players in these industries.
This is a role that offers a great deal of freedom and many opportunities for growth, at a company whose work is vital to the customers it serves—for example, in the healthcare sector.
The company is now looking to strengthen its team with a solution architect who will provide internal and external support with technical expertise and be responsible for applications related to cleanroom monitoring. You will be responsible for product ownership within the company, serve as a solution architect for complex projects and solutions, support the sales organization with solution development, presentations, and after-sales support, and assist the rest of the organization with hardware and software solutions, among other tasks. You will manage the product portfolio and update the product lineup in relevant systems. You will also be responsible for developing a relevant margin strategy based on the company’s needs.
Since this is a role that offers a great deal of freedom, you need to be able to plan, implement, evaluate, and analyze initiatives independently (and sometimes in collaboration with others). You’ll be giving quite a few talks and presentations, so you’re likely someone who also enjoys this aspect of the job.
The right candidate has
- About 15 years of professional experience
- Have held a similar role at a tech, media, or life sciences company
- Relevant academic degree, preferably in engineering with a focus on IT
- An extroverted personality with strong communication skills, both internally and externally, and a drive to create value for customers.
- Proficiency in using the Office suite, as well as experience working with ERP and CRM systems
- A Class B driver's license, as the position involves some travel (Nordic countries: about 3–5 days per month; rest of Europe: about 1–3 days per quarter)
- The ability to express oneself fluently, both orally and in writing, in Swedish and English
If you speak Finnish, that is a plus but not a requirement. If you have experience in project management, that is also a plus.
You will report to the Nordic Sales & Marketing Director, whose position, like this one, is based at the Årsta office in Stockholm.
We look forward to receiving your application!
