Strategic Tender Lead
Talent Search has been commissioned to recruit a Strategic Tender Lead for a company with revenue in the billions in the Gothenburg area.
Main Job Responsibilities:

Be responsible for large and strategically complex bids, from in-depth analysis of the request for proposal to the final, winning submission

The role does not involve any personnel responsibility, but you will act as a business-driven project manager with the authority to coordinate large cross-functional project teams to successfully bring bid processes to a close

Lead and manage the commercial bidding process, including margins, pricing, sourcing, and business logic

Move seamlessly between strategic dialogue with senior management and operational collaboration with individual product owners and buyers

Interpret complex commercial and regulatory requirements under the Public Procurement Act (LOU) and work closely with legal counsel

Identify risks, opportunities for margin optimization, and new supplier options to maximize the company’s growth, profitability, and competitive advantages

Operationally manage and build financial models in Excel, and turn complex solutions into compelling business presentations in PowerPoint

Ensure that bids meet all quality requirements, parameters, and internal guidelines to guarantee a successful delivery
To be considered for the role:

At least 5 years of experience in the operational management and successful closing of large, complex deals, including several years of experience with full responsibility for the deal

Understanding of public procurement (LOU) and the strict legal framework governing public processes

Master's degree in a relevant field

Expert-level proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, combined with a strong operational drive

Background in complex and transaction-intensive industries; experience with scale-up operations in the MedTech sector is a plus

Very strong commercial ownership with the ability to see processes through to completion and deliver under high performance requirements

Strong project management skills, with experience leading teams through clear guidelines and strict scheduling

Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English
