What is the difference between a project coordinator and a project manager?

The project manager is responsible for the goals, budget, and decisions. The coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day implementation—schedules, documentation, follow-up, and communication between the parties. Many project coordinators eventually grow into the role of project manager. If you need a project manager, we can help you with that recruitment as well.
Is PMP or PRINCE2 certification required?

Rarely for the coordinator role. We find that familiarity with structures and systems, as well as the ability to take the initiative without a formal mandate, carry more weight. If you work in a certification-driven environment, we will of course include that in the job requirements.
